FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: variator has input shaft, two axially alined driven shafts, intermediate hollow shaft, central conical gear wheels, carrier with two diametrical axles, satellites mounted on the axles, flywheels rigidly connected to the satellites, and clutch mechanism. The first driven shaft and intermediate shaft are connected with the clutch mechanism for permitting their individual controllable rigid coupling with the output shaft to provide its reverse rotation. EFFECT: improved design. 3 cl, 2 dwg
