FIELD: solid waste recovery in uranium extraction. SUBSTANCE: wastes are depulped, pulp is classified according to grain size of 0.04-0.74 mm. Pulp of slime and clay fractions is dewatered, lumped, and solidified by adding binding material. Solidified product is used to produce pellets placed in storage. Pulp of sand fractions is extracted by nitrogen oxide solution while heating, settled down, solution is cleaned of suspended particles, and recycled to extract sand fractions of wastes. Solid phase is washed with water, sands are separated and used in construction engineering. Washing water is cleaned of radium by settling method and of uranium by ampholine sorption method and used to produce nitric fertilizers. EFFECT: facilitated procedure. 8 cl, 1 dwg
