FIELD: means of individual protection of welder. SUBSTANCE: mask 1 is connected to cap 2 in the helmet in the form of annular obturator 5 secured on it with a longitudinal groove receiving the edges of mask 1. Two holes are available at the edges of frontotemporal obturator 7 for passage of air to the upper part of the helmet. Protective shield 14 is made with cap peak 19 projecting in the lower part, in which it is coupled to mask 1 by two cylindrical springs 20 located in semicylindrical cavities to be found on the external lateral sides of the mask. EFFECT: enhanced protective efficiency of helmet and convenience in use in the conditions of a complex effect of radioactive and other toxic products, noise, high temperature, metal splashes and brightness of the welding zone. 4 dwg
