FIELD: mineral concentration; applicable in magnetic separation of iron ores. SUBSTANCE: method for concentration of iron ores includes grinding of initial ore in first-stage mill, magnetic separation of ground material to produce magnetic product and tailings, stage grinding of magnetic products in milling final grinding, slime removal from ground magnetic products at each stage. Separated from deslimed materials are grainy fractions which are supplied to mills of the previous stages of grinding or to the first-stage mill. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 2 cl, 1 dwg
