FIELD: mineral concentration, applicable in iron ore magnetic concentration. SUBSTANCE: the offered method includes grinding of initial material, magnetic separation of ground material with obtaining middlings and tailings, two-stage treatment of middlings to classify them into sand and fine fractions with supply of water for classification, final grinding of sand fraction with return of finally ground sand fraction for classification, desliming of fine fraction to obtain deslimed product for disposal of tailings and obtaining concentrate. Water supplied for classification in the first stage of final treatment of middlings is replaced by overflow of desliming of fine fraction of the second stage of final treatment of middlings.
