FIELD: manufacture of multilayer panels and application of coatings over limited part. SUBSTANCE: press for manufacture of multilayer panels from preliminarily treated material and/or application of coatings to them has upper and lower continuously circulating steel bands of press. Sliding spacer running over the entire pressing zone has recesses. Each band of press slides due to presence of lubricating means which is supplied to sliding spaces through supply pipe, and withdrawn from it through outlet hole. There are several recesses not connected with one another designed for swirling the lubricant in, at least, two external longitudinal edge regions of sliding spacer for press band.
