SUBSTANCE: heat-absorbing glass has, wt.-%: silicon oxide (SiO2) 65-68; sodium oxide (Na2O) 12-14; potassium oxide (K2O) 2.5-4; magnesium oxide (MgO) 2-3; calcium oxide (CaO) 4.2-5.5; aluminium oxide (Al2O3) 3-4; ferrous oxide (FeO) 2.7-4.1. Total content of alkaline metal oxides is 15-17. Glass can contain additionally, wt.-%: lithium oxide (Li2O) up to 3; barium oxide (BaO) up to 2, and boron oxide (B2O3.) up to 1.
