FIELD: gold mining. SUBSTANCE: in sluice having a groove with bottom and magnetic system, said bottom has three steps whose level descends in the direction of moving flow. Middle step is twice as wide as groove and is positioned in such a manner as to be free to reciprocate in the direction perpendicular to that of flow by means of supporting rollers to an extent equal to groove width. Magnetic system is installed under middle step of bottom and consists of two parallel magnetic members oriented perpendicularly to the flow direction and being free to move in vertical direction independently of each other.
