FIELD: phytovirology. SUBSTANCE: strain is isolated from naturally infected potato plants, strain Lorch. Strain has index "YBK-O-1-Л" and deposited in Collection Biotechcenter at N 1. Antiserum titer obtained by immunization with strain "YBK-O-1-Л" is 1:819200 but using the early known strains of "YBK" - (1:102400)-(1:409600) in indirect variant of immunoenzyme assay ("ИФА"). Sensitivity of diagnostica prepared from monostrain antisera is 3 and 7-30 ng/ml virus, respectively. Strain "YBK-O-1-Л" shows high virus yield at purification, stability at prolonged storage and ensures to obtain highly specific antisera for preparing immunoenzyme diagnostica.
