FIELD: cleaning of neutral aggressive liquids; all branches of industry where highly effective cleaning of liquids from dispersed particles is requires. SUBSTANCE: stage filter has base with branch pipes, cylindrical housing inside which filter elements are arranged, separating partition, hold-down device, shut-off device and circular sealing gaskets. Filter elements are arranged in succession in way of flow of liquid in such way that one or several inner filter elements are mounted inside outer filter elements made in form of thick-walled pipe. Inner filter elements are mounted in separating partition through sealing gaskets. Outer filter element is sealed over ends by circular projections of hold-down plate and separating partition; inner filter elements have pores of lesser size as compared with outer filter elements.
