FIELD: mining industry; mineral enriching. SUBSTANCE: apparatus for washing sands in industrial working up placer deposits and also in enriching crushed ores containing heavy minerals contains cylindrical body with cover, feeding branch pipe, branch pipe for discharging light fraction, diaphragm in the upper section of body and cone nozzle with flat bottom and opening on the peripheral part of bottom for discharging heavy fraction. On the inner surface of cylindrical body, there are two helical channels with trapezoidal cross-section and different pitch and depth. Pitch of main channel equals to 1.1-1.3 vertical sizes of feeding branch pipe, and depth is 1.5-3.0 diameters of starting material grains. Pitch and depth of additional channel are less than those of main channel by factors 2-10 and 2-5, respectively. On the inner surface of bottom, there is a channel with trapezoidal cross-section in the form of Archimedean spiral expanding in direction of pulp rotation. Opening for discharging heavy fraction is made as a circular wedge-shaped slot along bottom circumference. EFFECT: improved enriching apparatus. 2 cl, 1 dwg
