FIELD: mechanical engineering; riveting of packs containing fibrous composite material part. SUBSTANCE: stepped holes for rivets are made in pack of parts to be connected by riveting. Larger diameter steps are located at side of fibrous composite material part, their height exceeding thickness of parts. Rivets with primary heads and blind cylindrical cavity at side of end are fitted into holes from side of fibrous composite material parts. Rivet shanks are stepped. Then bead is formed on projecting portion of shank of each rivet. Bead is in contact with surface of metal part. Bead is formed by applying axial force providing flow of shank material in radial direction. Then rivets are connected in seam by strengthening members placed on shank beads. Then snap heads of rivets are formed by plastic deformation of shank portions projecting from pack. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities. 2 cl, 7 dwg
