FERRY-BRIDGE CARRIER Russian patent published in 1996 - IPC

FIELD: equipment for river barrier ferry-bridge crossings. SUBSTANCE: ferry-bridge carrier has carrying body of deck type with longitudinal side members, sliding way with joining beams and side pontoons. Joining beams are connected with carrying body by means of flexible beaded plates. The body itself has beaded fenders and side beaded sheathing. Ferry-bridge carrier has pedestal in form of U-shaped beam resting on the upper load-bearing belt of side member and its longitudinal beam. Width of pedestal equals the width of the lower load-bearing belt of load-bearing beam. Connecting steel beaded plate is engageable by means of its one side with the lower load-bearing belt of joining beam, and the other side is laid on pedestal side member. Beaded plate is engageable with joining beam and pedestal by means of angle pieces. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 2 cl, 2 dwg
