SUBSTANCE: ferry-bridge machine has vehicle with upper and lower side pontoons with runways which are mechanically connected with vehicle. Upper side pontoon unfolding mechanism, made in form of hydraulic cylinder and load carrying beam, has adapter in form of fork. Adapter connects hydraulic cylinder rod and beam through hinge joint. Load-carrying beam is flat and arranged in slots of vehicle and upper side pontoon. Position of axles of turning of upper side pontoon relative to load-bearing beam and hydraulic cylinder of upper side pontoon relative to this pontoon in transportation position should satisfy the condition R + R1 ≅ L.
