FIELD: fibre- optic communication lines. SUBSTANCE: light guide rotating connector is made of two identical aligned light- carrying elements, one of which is mounted in ball bearing. Both light-carrying elements are enclosed in housing and have jacks on their cases provided with electric contacts for mounting and connecting optical radiation receivers and transmitters. Rotor and stator of annular rotating transformer are introduced into the connector, a s well as plug-and-socket connector. Rotor and stator are mounted onto light-carrying elements.
