Abstract RU 2069525 C1

FIELD: transport. SUBSTANCE: seat belt lock has two interlocked parts, detachable and receiving ones. Detachable part is made in form of tongue with eye for strap and hole on fitted in end. Receiving part has U-shaped holder 1 enclosed in protective case and connected with tie-rod to secured lock in vehicle body, U-shaped catch 2 with tooth installed in holder for engagement with tongue hole 15 and hole 20 made in base of holder, spring-loaded member 18 to interlock catch 2 in closed position, tongue pusher 26 and release button 38. In front portion of holder additional stop is made for engagement with front portion of catch in case of extreme loads on lock. End sections of catch sides are made in form of lugs 5 and 6 bent symmetrically through angle of 50-60 degrees and freely fitted in slots made in side walls 8 and 9 of holder tail portion. Additional stop is made in form of two sections 23 and 24 of holder side walls bent symmetrically through right angle. Sides of catch are made narrowing towards bent lugs. Perpendicular projections 46 and 47 are made on ends of symmetrical legs of tongue pusher 26. These projections engage by ends with tail sections of lower edges of catch sides 3 and 4 locking the catch in open position. Above-indicated sections terminate in cavities accommodating perpendicular projections 46 and 47 when catch is closed. Plate extensions 51 and 52 are made on edges of release button head 50. These extensions flexibly engage by their rounded off ends 53 with chamfers 57 and 58 on ribs 55 and 56 formed inside lock guard body 54. Distance from tooth of catch 2 to above-indicated cavities on tail sections of sides 3 and 4 is equal to sum of width of front bridge of fitted-in end 12 of tongue 13 and distance from end of pusher 26 to perpendicular projections 46 and 47 plus clearance to permit turning of catch 2 in closed position without touching the rear edge of bridge of front end 12 of tongue 13 by tooth of catch 2. Longitudinal cavities are made on ends of legs of pushers 26 to permit movement of stepped projections of release button 28. Trough-shaped cavities are made in slots on holder side walls 8 and 9 to support lugs 5 and 6 of sides 3 and 4 of catch 2 and to prevent their getting out of holder 1. Support edge of cavities is exposed to alternative load from springs 28 and 32 of pusher and detent 18. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of operation. 8 dwg
