INJECTOR FOR HEATING AND FEEDING OF PATTERN COMPOSITION IN CASTING MOULD Russian patent published in 1996 - IPC

Abstract RU 2069597 C1

FIELD: casting production, apparatuses for heating and feeding of pattern composition into press-mould are designated for smelt patterns of jewelry and similar pieces. SUBSTANCE: aim is to develop injector design, that provides quick heating and cooling of pattern composition with minimum power consumption. Heater is made in the form of multicoil tubular spiral located in capacity of injector. Spiral is made of material with high electrical resistance ( for example, of stainless steel) and is connected with power source and mounted so as to be capable to feed cooling medium ( for example, gas or liquid) into tube-spiral. Injector has tank 1 with seal lid 2 , heating mean (tubular spiral) and temperature control mean 4 and mean 5 to feed composition into mould. EFFECT: improved injector design. 1 dwg
