FIELD: mechanical engineering; rail vehicle sliding supports. SUBSTANCE: friction aluminium lining 3 with wear-resistant coating 4 deposited on one side is placed between two relatively displacing members. Lining 3 is secured on mating member by non-reinforced side. To provide optimum operating conditions, wear-resistant coating 4 is made in form of independently working sections divided by grooves of depth equal to thickness of coating 4. Coating 4 is made of hard alloy, for instance steel 40x13, impregnated with antifriction composition based, for instance, on molybdenum disulfide. EFFECT: reduced labour input in repair, simplified design of units, provision of required friction characteristics of vibration damper. 3 dwg
