FIELD: engine engineering. SUBSTANCE: exhaust silencer with a catalytic neutralizer comprises housing provided with a tubular member with a catalytic neutralizer. Exhaust gases enter the silencer through a Venturi nozzle, flows through a set of diaphragms made of a ceramic material treated with catalytic materials, and purified gases are discharged through the outlet pipe of the silencer. The ceramic diaphragms can be as a cap and provided with through openings or oval with perforated wall. The ceramic members can be provided with members formed by the plate with side flanges that define opposite spaces. It can be possible to provide different combinations of the members to fit a particular engine. EFFECT: enhanced silencing. 7 cl, 11 dwg
