FIELD: engine engineering. SUBSTANCE: device comprises pickup of angle of rotation of the crankshaft of a diesel made up as stroboscope and connected with the starting pulse shaper of the stroboscope, pickup of lifting of the needle of nozzle 1 connected to pulse shaper 2, and measuring instrument. The device is also provided with unit 3 for auto-adjusting zero. The output of the pulse shaper is connected with the inlet of the unit for auto- adjusting zero. The output of the unit for auto- adjusting zero is connected with the first inputs of the first and third analog switches 4, 5, and 6 of the first and second comparators 7 and 8. The three other inputs of the first comparator are connected with the outputs of reference voltage unit 9. The output of the first comparator is connected with the inputs of the pulse and end pulse shapers and inlet of shaper 12 of time interval. The tree outputs of the time interval shaper are connected with the second inputs of the first, second, and third analog switched. The outputs of the first and second analog switches are connected through the first and second peak detectors 13 and 14, respectively. The input of the third analog switch is connected with measuring instrument 16 through shaper 15 of averaged value. The output of the second peak detector is connected with the second input of the second comparator through voltage divider 17. The output of the second comparator is connected with one of the inputs of amplifier 18. The two other inputs of the amplifier are connected with the outputs of the shapers of the beginning and end of the pulses. The output of the amplifier is connected with the stroboscope.
