FIELD: aviation; landing of seaplanes. SUBSTANCE: method consists in measuring the wind and swell parameters, determination of wind velocity side and opposing components, check of weather conditions (wind, waves) and determination of possible course of alighting on water followed by superimposing one on another. Device for control of amphibian attitude has aileron servo actuator, servo actuator control unit, wind parameter sensor, swell parameter sensor, unit for shaping wave field of possible courses, unit for shaping field of possible alighting courses, unit for determination of optimal alighting-on-water course, unit for shaping wind field of possible courses, unit for resolution of wind velocity vector into two components and comparison units.
