LOOSE MATERIALS UNLOADING DEVICE Russian patent published in 1996 - IPC

FIELD: materials storage and handling; unloading of loose materials from stores. SUBSTANCE: device has intake unit 2, feeder 3 with blades 6, outlet branch pipe 5, feeder drive 6 and gate consisting of cover 8, lever 7 and drive with driven shaft 11. Device has at least one compensator 12 whose one end is connected to cover 8, and other end, to lever 7 connected with compensator through driven shaft 11. Gate is installed inside outlet branch pipe 5 with displacement relative to its axis which provides reliable operation of device for sealing intake unit 2. Extension spring serves as compensator 12. One end of spring is connected to cover 8, and other end, to lever 7. With hole "a" being closed by cover 8, compensator 12 provides movement of cover 8 to prevent misalignment of contact planes of cover 8 and gasket 10. In process of upsetting of gasket 10 by cover 8, no clearances are left between cover and gasket, and tight uniform fitting is provided, thus ensuring adequate sealing of connection. When cover 8 is opened, compensator 12 sets cover 8 so that its contact plane occupies required position at angle α exceeding 0 degrees to provide directing loose materials from intake unit 2 into transportation channel.
