FIELD: drying wood. SUBSTANCE: chamber 1 is made of an elastic airtight material and has two ducts 2 mounted on both end walls of it. The chamber further has ventilator 3, air heater 4, safety valve 5, steam turbine 6, valves 7, a sealing cord and an additional cord. In operation an elastic air tight shell is pulled over the stack in a tight-fitting manner. Subsequently ducts 2 are positioned on the ends of the chamber for blowing the heated air through the stack from the steam boiler. To improve the drying process vacuum is applied to the elastic shell alternatively with the blowing. The elastic shell has simultaneously the function of a wrapping material. EFFECT: apparatus may be used in the field conditions. 8 dwg
