FIELD: chemistry of polymers. SUBSTANCE: polymeric film is preliminarily subjected to high frequency treatment. The film is coated with 1-40 wt% of acrylic monomer solvent, 0.01-5 wt% of cross-linking agent solvent, 0.01-0.7 wt% of radical initiator and 0.01-10 wt% of UV stabilizer solvent of formula (1) or (2): wherein R1 is hydrogen atom or tert-butyl; R2 is methyl atom or tert- butyl, and the solution is then air dried, air being continuously fed at rate of 0.01-3 m/sec onto the film disposed at distance of 5-20 cm from funnels for feeding air and having a great number of holes of 1-30 mm in diameter with one hole per sq cm till residual amount of the Solvent is equal to 0.07-3.6 g/sq m and said polymerization is carried out under UV irradiation. Photoreaction is carried out by irradiation with UV lamps disposed at distance of 5 to 50 cm from the film surface with ultraviolet light of 30-160 W/cm. The device for carrying into effect the claimed process is provided with pair of air-feeding funnels disposed symmetrically with respect to the upper and lower sides of the polymeric film between the section where the film surface is coated with hydrophilic compound and photopolymerization section. The later is made as light source consisting of pair of UV lamps mounted in light reaction chamber. Said chamber accommodates fans for removing the solvent and cooling fans disposed on side portion of light reaction chamber. Film characteristics: good hydrophilic properties and climatic stability under various weather conditions. EFFECT: more efficient preparation process. 7 cl, 3 dwg, 1 tbl
