FIELD: pharmacy. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pharmaceutical compositions promoting percutaneous absorption of substances. System consists of nonpermeable backing, polymeric diffusion matrix formed, preferably, by one or some thin layers and external layer. Matrix consists of, wt.-%: adhesive material 35-90; substances promoting absorption and retaining piroxicam in dissolved state 9-40; penetration enhancers 0.5-10, and active component 0.5-25. Adhesive polymers can be based on water and solvent. Polymers do two functions: they show adhesive property for skin, retain matrix on skin at good diffusion contact with skin and they are carriers of active substance or depot of active substance. Adhesive polymer is, preferably, vinyl-acetate-acrylate multipolymer. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of system. 6 cl, 3 dwg
