FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: shears has two double-arm levers pivotally interconnected through an intermediate link. Knives are pivotally connected with one of the arms. The knives are interconnected through pressing planks. The second arm of one of the double-arm levers is provided with an adjustable stop mounted for permitting interaction with the second lever. The lever provided with the adjustable stop has an adjustable screw. The intermediate link is made up as a double-arm lever the middle portion of which is pivotally connected with the lever provided with the stop and screw. One of the arms of the link is mounted for permitting interaction with the adjustable stop. The other arm is pivotally connected for permitting interaction with the screw.
