FIELD: mechanical engineering; thermal cutting of pipe blanks to size. SUBSTANCE: device has driven roller beds, pipe cutting machine tool on base of friction type rotator with driven roller supports and pressure rollers installed on pressure lever, cutting tool and movable stop. Welding unit of similar design with non-driven roller supports is installed at pipe cutting machine tool of device. Roller supports are provided with contact flanges. Welding torch is located between pressure rollers and flanges of roller supports on pressure roller. Stop in form of bell-crank is located between roller supports along weld axis. Bell-crank has working end face made to radius with center on bell-crank rotation axis and also counterweight with limit switch placed in control circuit of pipe cutting machine tool, driven roller beds and welding unit. In process of longitudinal displacement of pipes at cutting off, butt weld is arranged between flanges of non-driven roller supports and pressure rollers to provide synchronous rotation of both pipes at welding.
