FIELD: mechanical engineering; thermal cutting of metals. SUBSTANCE: stand has frame with fitted on idle and drive roller supports for rotating the workpiece. Support posts with rollers 6 are secured on frame. Guide beam 7 is installed in slots of support posts for movement along longitudinal axis of stand under action of spring 8. Guide beam 7 has measuring rule 9 and workpiece axial displacement follow-up system consisting of end face stop 10 of support member 11 secured on end face of workpiece 4. Carriage 12 with plasma generator 13 secured in bracket is installed on beam 7 for linear displacement. Carriage is locked by handle 15 and guide beam, by handle 16.
