FIELD: production of butadiene-styrene rubbers. SUBSTANCE: process for preparing butadiene-styrene rubbers by solution polymerization, comprises preparing monomers such as butadiene and styrene by azeotropic drying thereof in columns, subsequently rectifying monomers from high-boiling impurities, preparing solvent for polymerization by treatment of return solvent in azeotropic drying column and in rectification column where said solvent is cleared high-boiling impurities at column top pressure of 0.1 Mpa and temperature of 80 C, some solvent vapors, in amount of 18.5-28.3% from the column top where solvent is rectified from high-boiling impurities at pressure of 0.24-0.26 MPa and at temperatures from 10 to 115 C are first used for heating the solvent which is admitted into azeotropic drying column, the solvent vapors cooled by 2-5 C higher than condensation temperature are used for heating the column where butadiene is subjected to azeotropic drying and rectified to remove high-boiling impurities. The other portion of vapors in amount of 12.3-16.4% and having temperature of 105-115 C is used for heating the column where styrene is dried and purified, and excess vapors are directed for condensation with industrial water.
