FIELD: manufacture of synthetic rubbers. SUBSTANCE: described is manufacture of synthetic rubbers by soluble polymerization. Method comprises regenerating return solvent in process from rubber isolation stage. Method of regenerating return catalyst in process of preparing synthetic rubbers comprises separating aqueous layer from condensate and cleaning hydrocarbon layer containing return catalyst by aqueous alkaline washing, distilling off highly volatile hydrocarbon therefrom, and return solvent is then fed to be hydraulically cleaned. Hydrocleaning is carried out using catalyst for hydrogenation of unsaturated hydrocarbons. Distillate resulting from rectification of still product in column where heavy hydrocarbons are separated from return solvent is also hydraulically cleaned.
