FIELD: nondestructive testing of stamping ability of sheet ferromagnetic materials. SUBSTANCE: samples of different width are prepared. Round cuts of different radii are made. Burrs are removed. Samples are formed with different system of loading, discretely in 10% of deformation value starting from 15% to critical value of deformation. Amplitudes of third harmonic tangentially making magnetization vectors after each moulding are measured. Measurements are grouped in accord with loading diagram and diagram of limit deformations is plotted. Tested part is deformed and deformation value by amplitude of third harmonic of signal of eddy-current converter is measured in two mutually perpendicular directions. Values of harmonics are entered on plotted diagram of limit deformations. Stamping ability of sheet ferromagnetic materials is evaluated by position of point with reference to curve of limit deformations. EFFECT: increased productivity of method. 4 dwg
