FIELD: main building components of vacuum tubes; manufacture of flat phosphor cathodic screens. SUBSTANCE: used as emitter proper is butt end of pointed concave plate of submicron thickness applied to end of high-value loading resistor pile resting on film-type conducting bus. First extracting (emission initiating) electrode is made in the form of conducting film isolated from emitter bus by insulating layer with holes along resistor piles. Second extracting electrode is built up as pile like resistor piles; emitter end is equally spaced from extracting electrodes. Film-type lead of second electrode has hole on emitter end. Emitter, resistor, and electrodes are of matrix type; height of second electrode and distance between adjacent resistor piles are equal; first electrode is provided with contacting bosses on ends of emitter matrix electrodes; resistor piles with emitters carry spacers whose matrix is spaced relative to resistor matrix.
