FILM-COATED AUTOEMISSION VACUUM-TUBE MICRODEVICE Russian patent published in 2000 - IPC

Abstract RU 2144235 C1

FIELD: microwave engineering; information display. SUBSTANCE: device using film-coated planar-face and/or needle autoemission cathodes has shielding layers at points of low-voltage transfer electrode spaced through longest distance from own emitter. Shielding layer structure is available of various modifications: loading resistor, phosphor, secondary electron emitter arranged on non-conducting fragments of shielding layer. Electrons are uniformly distributed over array of emitters connected through their bases to low-value resistors; buses of transfer electrodes are resistant to overheating and to electron-ion bombardment. EFFECT: improved performance characteristics. 21 cl, 4 dwg
