FILTERING APPARATUS Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

FIELD: cleaning of gaseous and liquid media. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has housing, filtering members with alternating supplying and discharge channels defined by walls, plugs positioned in channels, supporting plate with filtering members fixed in openings and sealed by linings and pressure plates. In two versions of apparatus, discharge channels are plugged at one side and supplying channels are plugged at other side. Filtrate is discharged through collectors positioned in bottom (cover). In two other versions of apparatus, only supplying channels are plugged at one side; their other side is connected to filtrate discharge pipes, which are extending through contaminant substance collecting chamber. EFFECT: increased efficiency, simplified mounting and dismantling, enhanced reliability in operation. 5 cl, 10 dwg
