FIELD: cleaning of gaseous and liquid media. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has housing, supporting rings, nuts screwed onto supporting rings, sealing linings, flat membranes, retainers and filtering units, each having supporting and distributing pipe with central filtering member and two sealing flexible members, which are mounted on pipe, two fastening flanges, two sealing linings formed as thin rings and two mated filtering members. Filtering members made from ceramic are reliably protected by linings against vibration and shock. Filtering unit has at least three filtering members providing for gradual increase in cleaning capacity of the unit. EFFECT: increased efficiency, simplified mounting and dismantling of filtering unit, enhanced reliability in operation. 2 cl, 2 dwg
