FIELD: mechanical engineering; plastics production; planetary gear extruders designed to feed calender in production of sheet and film thermoplasts. SUBSTANCE: in planetary gear extruder clearance between working surfaces of planet pinion teeth and central shaft teeth at engagement on extreme section of second toothed pair rim farthest from extruder decreases according to linear dependence. At least on part of toothed rim behind the extreme section, working surface of each tooth of central shaft is made convex to additionally decrease size of clearance between working surfaces of planet pinion and central shaft teeth. Moreover, minimum l of extreme section of rim of second toothed pair at side of extruder input is found from relationship given in description of invention. Clearance between working surfaces of teeth of planet pinion and central shaft at their engagement on extreme section of rim of second toothed pair relative to extruder output decreases according to the same linear dependence as that at extruder input. Summary length of extreme sections at input and output of extruder is equal to double minimum length of extreme section at extruder input. Length L1 of extreme section of rim of second toothed pair at extruder input is greater than length L2 of extreme section at extruder output, being equal 1,5L≅ L1≅ 2L.
