FIELD: storage of printed matter. SUBSTANCE: printed matter incoming in cascade flows from working stage is delivered to intermediate storage and redistributed so that it again outgoes by cascade having other number of flows, other speed and sequence of different printed products, and supplied to the other stage of working. The method is embodied in three zones: first zone includes working stages in which flows wound on cores or rolls are unreeled into flows; second zone, in which rolls and cores circulate between intermediate storage and devices for reeling-on, and in which composed and divided are storage units (laying roll pairs and sets of cores); third zone, in which storage units are stored or dispensed. In all working zones, subject to working are printed matter and auxiliary means of storage which consists only of cores with guides. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 6 cl, 5 dwg
