FIELD: waste water purification. SUBSTANCE: invention refers to biochemical purification of natural, household, and industrial polluted water. In order to enhance efficiency of saturation of a liquid with gas by way of ensuring uniform small- bubble distribution of a medium being dispersed all over the length of apparatus, the frame of pneumatic aerator is made in the form of a perforated tube with conical openings arranged in rows and being shifted in adjacent rows by a half-pitch between openings in a row. Intermediate layer between the frame and case is made in the form of voluminous polymer braid wound on the frame in two directions with overlap. The tube with wound braid is surrounded from above with strongly porous case fabricated by the aid of pneumoextrusion technique and being a fiber material with pore size 500-600 mcm. The case supports a dispersing layer, which in turn has been applied onto the case surface also by pneumoextrusion technique, its pore size being 30-80 mcm. In order to elongate apparatus to provide more uniformity in aeration all over the length of the tank, the frame is provided from two sides with couplings having matched threads.
