FIELD: liquid aeration equipment, in particular, aeration of sewage water containing organic contaminants at biological purification stations.
SUBSTANCE: tubular pneumatic aerator is manufactured by pneumatic extrusion method and made in the form of cylindrical casing defined by thermoplastic fibers fused with one another at contact points, and stopper positioned at tube end. Thermoplastic fiber material has density of 0.40-0.50 g/cm3, porosity of 40-60%, and pore average size of 65-100 microns. Pneumatic aerator is additionally provided with air flow cutoff device made from thermoplastic material by injection casting method and provided with thread for mounting in conjunction with air supplying cone. Shape of cutoff device allows air flow to be focused by directing it along tube.
EFFECT: increased efficiency in providing of small-bubble aeration in all directions, simplified construction and form stability of pneumatic aerator.
