FIELD: railway repairing. SUBSTANCE: device has gantry crane installed on crawler truck and rail truck to move it, hand trucks being moved along railway track, and hoists for lifting track members having traveling gears to travel along the railway track. Method for replacing the members of the railway track lies in the fact that outdated members of the track are removed by the gantry crane, stacked onto the hand trucks, moved on the tracks to the area of dismantling outdated members of the track. New members of the track are moved by the hand trucks to the area of laying down using the gantry crane. The new members of the crane are laid down by the gantry crane. As this takes place, the movement of the track members between hand trucks and dismantling area for outdated track members, or laying down area for new track members is carried out using hoists for lifting track members.
