FIELD: machines for working of high-precision roller bearing inner races. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has base with reciprocating tool head and ring pressing mechanism. Casing of multiple-bar chuck positioned on spindle of tool head is mounted through spherical bearing on eccentric fixed in tool head spindle and is spring-biased with its spherical end to spherical surface of tool head tail spindle. Both spherical surfaces have equal radii. Axis of chuck is positioned at an angle to axis of rotation of part under working process and intersects it at point disposed in plane of symmetry of part surface profile. Eccentric transmits oscillatory motion to tool head, which circumscribes cone relative to axis of part in process, with apex of cone coinciding with center of symmetry of part surface in process.
