FIELD: textile industry. SUBSTANCE: device has drive control unit coupled with DC motor whose shaft is kinematically joined with tachnogenerator shaft electrically connected through threshold element with first input of emergency circuit breaker. Device also incorporates voltage feedback shaping unit whose input is connected to output of drive control unit and output, to second input of emergency circuit breaker. Device has speed governor whose first input is connected to emergency circuit breaker and second input, to speed setting element. In addition, device is provided with current sensor, correcting resistor, interlocking device, and signaling circuit. Current sensor is mounted at input of drive control unit and electrically connected to third input of emergency circuit breaker. Second output of emergency circuit breaker is connected through correcting resistor to third input of speed governor and input of signaling circuit is connected to second output of threshold element. Second output of drive control unit is connected through interlocking device and its time-delay make contact to fourth input of emergency circuit breaker. EFFECT: improved safety of drive under emergency conditions. 1 dwg
