SMALL-SIZE GARAGE Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

FIELD: civil engineering. SUBSTANCE: garage has continuous five-side walling 1 made of flat components. Garage is constructed of stationary section and turning section 2 which is of arbitrary shaping made at its sides of at least three members rigidly interconnected at determined angles. This section by means of hinges 3 is installed on stationary section of walling. Stationary section is made at sides of at least four members rigidly interconnected at angles of 75^o to 90^o. Installed in side portion of garage at driver side is door section 5 seated through rollers 6, 7 in guide members 8, 9. Upper guide member is of L cross section with V-shape bend inside member at lower end of prop, lower guide member has the shape of horizontal channel beam with inside bent flanges. Locking device consists of two separately located pairs: catch and stop. Stops made as angles are located on turning section. Catches 12, 13 are mounted on inner side of walling by means of movable axles 14, 15 and are spring-loaded. One of catches is connected by tie-rod with handle located near side door. Spring 20 are installed for easier lifting of turning section. To simplify driving of car into garage there are guide members 21, 22 for car wheels. One of guide members can be laterally displaced.
