HIGH-FREQUENCY BALANCER Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

Abstract RU 2072594 C1

FIELD: radio-engineering devices operating within the short and ultrashort wavebands. SUBSTANCE: balancer has three conductors, the beginning of the first of them forms an input that is asymmetric relative to the common bus. The beginning of the second conductor is connected to the common bus. The ends of these conductors form a balanced output. The first and second conductors are identical and arranged symmetrically relative to the axis of the third conductor. The third conductor shields the first and second conductors from the common bus, and its end is connected to the common bus. An inductive element is cut in between the beginnings of the first and third conductors. The third conductor may be formed by external conductors of two coaxial lines, whose internal conductors serve as the first and second conductors. The inductive element is formed by the coaxial line that is short-circuited at the end; the external conductor of this line serves as the first conductor, and the beginning of the internal conductor is connected to the beginning of the third conductor. EFFECT: improved design. 3 cl, 5 dwg
