WIDE-BAND BALANCING TRANSFORMER Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

Abstract RU 2076365 C1

FIELD: radio engineering, devices for long, middle, short and ultra-short waves. SUBSTANCE: device may be used in wide-band power amplifiers for transition from single-cycle stage to double-cycle one. Device has three coaxial cables which are located on magnetic circuit and are wound in same direction. Start of inner conductor of first coaxial cable provides potential input terminal which is not in symmetry about line which is connected to start of outer and end of inner conductors of this cable. Starts of outer conductors of second and third cables and end of inner conductor of third cable are also connected to said line. Number of coils and induction resistance of second and third cables are half of those of first cable. Ends of outer conductors of second and third cables are joined and connected to outer conductor of first cable at area of second half of its turns. Ends of inner conductors of second and third cables are connected to end of outer conductor of first cable and to common line respectively. Starts of inner conductors of second and third cables provide symmetric output. EFFECT: increased functional capabilities. 2 dwg
