FIELD: alternating current electric motors with arbitrary rotation frequency of driving shaft, frequency converters with smooth control of output characteristics of electric power such as voltage frequency and amplitude. SUBSTANCE: device has three alternating current electric motors 1, 2, 3 and two single-polarity machines 4, 5. Windings and magnetic circuits of inductors and armatures are located on driving shaft for rotation. Unipolar machine armature windings 21 and 25 and alternating current motor inductors 12 and 15 are designed as current- conducting hollow cylinders which are rigidly connected in pairs and are mounted in sealed ring chambers 33 and 34 which are shaped by ferromagnetic cylinders which are mounted on single shaft and have end faces, and shielded hollow cylinders 30 and 342 with liquid metal contacts. Latter contacts of armatures of unipolar machines are rigidly connected to shaft and are electrically connected to each other.
