FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: dynamoelectric converter has two electric machines, butt covers and terminals. One machine is synchronous, the other one - unipolar. Synchronous machine has outer and inner stators with windings and field structure. Unipolar machine has outer and inner stators with unipolar excitation windings, armature with liquid metal contacts. Outer and inner stators of machines are arranged concentric relative to each other. Armature and field structure are made fast to each other and are located in ring sealed chamber. It is possible to install booster in ring space of inner stator of unipolar machine. EFFECT: enhanced operational efficiency. 5 cl, 5 dwg
