FIELD: agriculture. SUBSTANCE: method involves propagation with the use of rosettes of all orders developing on main shoots as well as branches during the entire period of nursery stock growing. Nursery stock is rooted in substrate pots placed in water-proof rectangular containers. The smaller sides of the containers are butt-joined to form a substrate band. There are two stages of the process of growing. A shoot joined the rosettes to be rooted with the maternal plant at the first stage, and the rosettes are detached from the maternal plants at the second stage. The newly developed rosettes are pinned and rooted till all the pots in the containers are full, then the rosettes are separated from one another and taken out to grow to reach the marketable condition on the secondary filling plot. In the process of propagation rosettes of each shoot are rooted near the maternal plant within one container. The feeding area of rosettes of different orders is differentiated by way of differentiation of cross-section area of the substrate pots. The container for growing and transportation is longitudinally divided into three compartments, and each compartment is divided into two cells. Each pot has a bottom. The bottom is a truncated cone, and its thickness is greater than thickness of the side walls. EFFECT: improved growing conditions; more convenient operation. 29 dwg
