FIELD: agricultural meteorology. SUBSTANCE: aerosol generator has a cylinder for liquid reagent, and a locking device. The locking device is a rod with a check valve and an atomizer. The generator is provided with a thermal drive for operation of the locking device. The drive is a collet chuck formed by temperature-sensitive plates located round the periphery of the cylinder neck. Free ends of the plates are bent towards the rod, and they are spring-loaded against the side surface of a ring-shaped rest mounted on the rod. EFFECT: higher efficiency; simpler design. 2 dwg
