FIELD: reflexotherapy, massage for prophylactic and rehabilitation purposes. SUBSTANCE: patient's tongue pre-cleaned from mucus and any alien matter is subjected to massage carried out by special-design apparatus to produce effect upon corresponding reflexogenic zones of tongue. Oral cavity is rinsed with large quantities of water. Water is preliminarily subjected to magnetic treatment and has specific color selected depending on massage purposes, patient's condition, patient's habit. Next patient's palate is rinsed and massaged in combination with magnetotherapy. Procedure can be terminated by irradiating oral cavity with electromagnetic red-color rays. Apparatus comprises handle carrying at its ends working elements one of which is intended for cleaning tongue and for use during preparatory and final massage stages, while other element is used for massage taking into consideration particularities of tongue structure. For this purpose its projections are made commensurate height-wise with height of tongue papillae. Both elements have semicircular working portions bent away to one side from handle axis at blunt angle thereto. Provision is also made of additional detachable working elements, one of which comprises permanent magnets, while other is intended for massage of mouth gums so as to engage teeth's necks.
